I have got out of the habit of the Saturday rides, what with all my new best friends in the biking world, that and developing a plain lazy streak.

Anyone fancy pedaling a round a bit to combat my ever increasing body mass?

Subjects up for debate:

Anarchy - in the traditional meaning rather than tabloid frenzy
Underclass - Solutions and ideas
Totem Poles - the random proliferation in our woods
Weight loss - 'nuff said
Butterflies - For Dave
Carat - update on his travels and conquests

Plus the usual mix of random musings

Would love to go on road ride, not been on one since "Hell of Ashdown", bike still has number on it!
Can't make it due to work related injury.
Will not get out on road bike next week either, as in London at a show.
I would love to discuss butterflies, riots (reasons and solutions, although most of you know me well enough to realise the direction I would be coming from), the economy, gold prices, the Arab Spring and the recent demise of "The Crafty Cook" but, alas, it must wait until another day!
Have a great ride.

As observed and disscussed Sunday at the regatta

Henseahog and myself went all nautical and got our boat out to try and scare Dangerous but as usual we couldn't find him or any fish for that matter.

We then decided to have a meat and alcohol based barbie on the beach followed by more drinking and lots of fast rides at the fair, watched the fireworks and then passed out.

Back to the slopes again on Sunday.

Will try harder new week!

Zorbing? is that something to do with Greeks?

If it was a Greek guy Wolfie may have a point, but I think he was likely to be from Romanian descent.

Then it would be call Romorbing.

The industrial accident Wolfie, head injury was it?

I am not going to lower myself to your level, tearing around the countryside, scaring innocent drivers, this Saturday I will be "thinking a good ride" & will be much fitter because of it!
Its the transandental approach, not this German method, grinding everybody. into the ground

Wolfie you have a good point and must listen to the people of the popular front.

Replicating German tendencies does have it's plus points and may win the odd battle, but I doubt it will win the war against the motorist and other casual road users in the end.

Leave us to whip them into a Lycra blurred frenzy this weekend with our Canterbury friends' antics whilst we nonchalantly look on with Gallic type shrugs before we turn nasty (I am off to Brixton in the morning to pick up some tips).

Then next week you can return in that laid back socialist way to study the aftermath and blind them with apathy and inaction inciting total anarchy.

Power to the pedal

Hopefully see you Sunday Mr Wolfster
